1. Send your updated resume (via e-mail), which should include:

• Personal Details
• Academic Qualifications
• Projects undertaken and dates - key responsibilities/achievements/software and hardware platforms used including versions
• Main skills showing months of experience
• Current referees, must be recent Supervisors or Managers.
• Send covering letter (via e-mail), showing:
• Type of job you are seeking
• Your earliest availability
• Any salary expectations you may have
• Contact numbers - phone/e-mail
• Will you be travelling alone, if not who will be coming with you
• How many other agencies you have lodged your details with in Australia.

2. Sign the Axis Standard Operating Agreement Form ( individual/sole trader or company ) and return a copy on fax number: 61 3 9813 2177. This is our authority to present your resume to our clients. It covers you, Axis and our clients.

3. When you have secured work with Axis - you must:

• Obtain a Form 1066 (Application for a long-stay temporary business visa) from the Australian Embassy immediately
• Undertake medicals and x-ray for you and your family (if necessary)
• Take out travel and health insurance cover
• You should bring approximately A$3,000-$4,000 for a single or couple, A$6,000-$8,000 for a family (4 people or more) as there will be a period of 1 month before you receive your first initial pay/wage.
